Dengue patrol smkdmpr2 : speech on Ways to Beautify Our School

A very good morning to our Principal, teachers and friends.

In conjunction with the ‘Dengue Patrol National Competition’, I would like to present a speech entitled ‘Ways to Beautify Our School’. The school is a place where we learn. We spend a lot of time at the school. Hence, it is important that we take good care of it so that the school becomes a place where we can learn, make friends and enjoy learning.

One of the easiest things that we can do is to have plants around the school. We can plant flowers and trees around the school. On top of that, we can give old flower pots a new coat of paint. Not only will that make the flower pots look new, it will also make our school appear more cheerful. Besides that, we can draw murals on the school walls. Murals that display good values and words of encouragement help to create a positive learning environment.

We can also build a fish pond in strategic places around the school. Visitors will feel welcome and the soothing sounds of water flowing will create a calming effect. Last but not least, we can place more rubbish bins around the school. By doing this, there will be no reason for anyone to litter the school compound. In conclusion, it is our responsibility to beautify our school and ensure that it stays beautiful and we make sure there is no place for dengue to breed and we put our slogan to reality - Without  dengue , without aedes , we are happy.

Thank you.
